The New York Mets start a four-game series against the Cincinnati Reds tonight and will send Matt Harvey to the mound to face Tyler Mahle. The game starts at 7:10 p.m. and will be aired on SNY.

Last night, the Mets won 6-3 in a rain shortened game against the Phillies. The Mets bats came scorching as they scored three runs in the bottom of the first after Asdrubal Cabrera drove in a run on an RBI single followed by a Travis d’Arnaud two-run homer.

The Mets scored a run in the second on a Robert Gsellman RBI single and then again in the third on a Brandon Nimmo sac-fly. Nimmo did the same in the fifth to extend the Mets lead to 6-0.

Robert Gsellman pitched very well for most of the game until the sixth inning when he allowed three runs. He pitched six innings, allowed three runs (two earned), and struck out four batters.
