Michael Mayer of MMO reported that Red Sox assistant GM Zac Scott, Diamondbacks assistant GM Jared Porter, Athletics executive Billy Owens, and former Marlins president Michael Hill are all finalists for the Mets’ GM search, first reported by Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported that LHRP Jerry Blevins will be returning to the Mets! Blevins was signed on a minor league contract worth $1.25M if he makes it to the majors, and he will have $1.5M in incentives.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that free agent OF David Dahl and the Texas Rangers agree on a one-year deal for $3M. Earlier in the offseason Dahl was non-tendered by the Colorado Rockies.

The Los Angeles Dodgers sent LHP Leo Crawford to the Brewers for RP Corey Knebel. Crawford is the PTBNL from the December 2nd trade between the Dodgers and Brewers, as reported by Mark Feinsand of MLB.

The Dodgers also brought back RP Brandon Morrow as a non-roster invite, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.

RP Wei-Yin Chen has agreed to a deal with the Hanshin Tigers for the 2021 season, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

The Colorado Rockies have signed Chi Chi Gonzalez to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.

Casey Kelly, former Red Sox prospect, has re-signed with the KBO’s LG Twins.

The Texas Rangers signed Edubray Ramos to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.

The Rangers also re-signed RHP Jimmy Herget and designated OF Scott Heineman for assignment as the corresponding move for the 40-man roster.
