Good morning, Mets fans!

In a dominant day which featured a doubleheader sweep, the Mets’ two wins vs. the Nationals have propelled the team to 100 wins for the first time since 1988 and for only the fourth time in club history. Off the back of Brandon Nimmo‘s strong game one and contributing to the home run barrage game two, propel the Mets to the century mark with added assists from Francisco Lindor, Jeff McNeil and Francisco Álvarez. For more on this doubleheader sweep, check out our recaps of game one and game two.

Despite the wins, the NL East race is officially over, as the Braves clinched with their 2-1 win over the Marlins. The Mets will play the Padres in the Wild Card series that starts Friday.
