Good morning Mets fans! The New York Mets (62-59) avoided the sweep against the Atlanta Braves (72-51) as they won the third game of their series together by a score of 10-8. The Mets now look to keep the bats hot as they head to Missouri to take on the Kansas City Royals (43-78).

The Phillies beat the Chicago Cubs 7-5 and the Marlins beat the Dodgers 13-7.

The Phillies went into the ninth inning trailing the Cubs 5-1, but came out victorious. Their sixth-run ninth was capped off with a Bryce Harper walk-off grand slam.
