The Mets unfortunate downward spiral continues as Jacob deGrom was roughed up for a second consecutive outing after allowing eight runs on 10 hits in just four innings of work. Mike Vaccaro of the NY Post writes on how it is just another sign of the team’s demise.

Kristie Ackert of the NYDN reports on Yoenis Cespedes‘ coming return. Although details are currently vague, Cespedes reportedly ran at full strength in Florida on Tuesday. The Mets though are not providing a timetable for his return.
