Last night, the Mets defeated the Atlanta Braves 7-1 in their final home game of the season. Robert Gsellman started for the Mets and pitched six innings while only allowing one run and striking out four batters.
On the offensive side, the Mets only recorded seven hits, but Dominic Smith had a big one as a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning with a three-run shot. Travis d’Arnaud also recorded three RBIs in the game while Jose Reyes was the only player on the team with a multi-hit game.
