The New York Mets on Saturday wore hats of first responders and had their jerseys engraved with an American Flag and 9-11-01 on their sleeve for Saturday night’s game against the New York Yankees.

Alexis Farinacci of Metsmerized was on-hand for the 9/11 pregame remembrance ceremonies in Port St. Lucie prior to Low-A St. Lucie’s game against the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Friday night. She shared images of the ceremonies and the scene at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie.
