Per Mike Puma of the New York Post, Luis Robert Jr. will be making a rehab start in Syracuse in their game on June 30. Robert Jr. has not played in a game since April 26.

The Mets lost again by one run, losing to the Blue Jays 2-1. Sean Manaea continues to look strong, and across six starts in June pitched to a 3.72 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. This does not seem to be luck either; Manaea across that span has a 3.68 FIP, 21.8% strikeout rate and 5.9% walk rate.

While the Mets have not improved their record under new manager Andy Green, they have seemed to be more competitive in these games.

The Mets largest international signing of the current signing period, shortstop Wandy Asigen made his debut. He walked in his first plate appearance and struck out his second. He also scored the DSL Mets Orange only run of the game. He had one fielding error but followed that up with making the second out of the inning.

The Mets have optioned Tobias Myers and called up Joey Gerber.

Per Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Marcus Semien has a grade three strain and will miss at least six to eight weeks.
