The Mets had an off day yesterday but there was still plenty of news! Multiple players are working their way back to the majors, and the Mets have a new reliever on the 40-man roster.

Jorge Polanco homered in his rehab start for Triple-A Syracuse as he makes his way back to the majors.
Dedniel Núñez tossed a scoreless inning in his rehab appearance for Double-A Binghamton as he returns from Tommy John surgery.
The Mets selected left-handed reliever Jefry Yan adding him to the 40-man roster and optioned him to Triple-A. Yan had thrown as hard as 100.6 miles per hour.

The Braves recalled infielder Jim Jarvis and designated Rowdy Tellez for assignment.
Per Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the following players have been disciplined for the Nationals and Red Sox incident earlier this week:
- Cade Cavalli 7 games
- Willson Contreras 7 games
- Miles Mikolas 5 games
- Nate Eaton 3 games
Per Anne Rogers of MLB.com, Royals starting pitcher Cole Ragans has undergone surgery to repair his UCL. This is his third elbow surgery and he hopes to return in the second half of 2027.
