Morning Briefing: Font Set to Make Second Start for Mets

Good morning Mets fans!

Today the Mets continue their mid-week series against the Washington Nationals. New York and Washington will face off at 7:05 p.m., and the matchup will be televised on SNY. Wilmer Font will make his second start for New York while Patrick Corbin gets the nod for Washington.

Last night the Mets defeated the Washington Nationals by a score of 6-2.

The Mets announced several minor league transactions. Thomas McIlraith was activated from the injured list for Single-A St. Lucie. Luc Rennie was transferred from St.Lucie to short season-A Brooklyn.
