Another dreary day, Mets fans.

On Saturday, the Mets lost 5-4, in another blown game by the bullpen. Steven Matz did not last long in his outing, pitching two innings, giving up two runs on three hits and collecting three strikeouts.

In his Major League debut, Chris Mazza was sparkling, giving up only one run in four innings and collecting two strike outs. Seth Lugo gave up back-to-back home runs to give the Braves their lead in the eighth inning.

Offensively, Dominic Smith hit his eighth home run, while Robinson Cano, Jeff McNeil, Amed Rosario all collected two hits.
