Good morning, Mets fans!

As the offseason rumor mill continues to slowly heat up — even amidst the ongoing World Series — the Angels are showing reluctance to trade generational star Shohei Ohtani. In a Tuesday article from Andy Martino of SNY, it was reported that the Angels are showing “no appetite” to discuss Ohtani deals, and that it’s more likely they will try to extend him. If they fail to extend him, they could be open to moving him at the deadline, Martino reported.

In the aforementioned World Series, the Phillies went back out on top by beating the Astros 7-0 and taking a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 will be played in Philadelphia tonight at 8:03 p.m. ET.
