Aaron Judge is expected to meet with the Giants in San Francisco today. MLB Network’s Jon Morosi tweeted a video of Judge at the San Francisco airport last night. The Giants have long been speculated to be a destination for the reigning AL MVP, as he grew up a Giants fan in Linden, CA, and attended Fresno State.

The Yankees are the latest team to have checked in on Jacob deGrom, SNY’s Andy Martino reports. Martino also mentioned that the Bronx Bombers even requested medical records for the two-time Cy Young award winner.

Brown University‘s Olivia Pichardo has been named to the school’s varsity baseball roster for the 2023 season. The Queens native is set to become the first woman to be on an NCAA Division I baseball roster. Pichardo grew up playing in Forest Hills Little League and played travel ball on Long Island. She also interned for the Mets in their amateur scouting department and is a member of Team USA’s women’s baseball national team.

The Red Sox and Yankees have both checked in on Japanese phenom Koudai Senga. the 29-year-old fireballer isn’t subject to any posting fees or draft pick compensation, which makes him a more attractive free agent.

The new Baseball Hall of Fame ballot was announced yesterday, featuring 14 new names. Included on the ballot are former Mets R.A. Dickey, Carlos Beltrán, and Francisco Rodríguez.

The Red Sox are unlikely to pursue any of the top pitchers on the free-agent market, Chris Cotillo of MassLive reports. Boston is still expected to target some of the second-tier arms that are available.
