Sal Manzo had me on MMO Weekly on YouTube this week, and we talked about Max Scherzer’s oblique injury, the Colorado Rockies series, and the upcoming San Francisco Giants series.
The Mets went 5-2 over their last seven games, and after Sunday’s win, they’ve won their last 14 games after a loss. That’s how you prevent slipping in the standings despite injuries.
We also recapped a couple of minor league moves the team made Monday, including Jake Mangum moving to Triple-A Syracuse and Carson Seymour and Mike Vasil moving to High-A Brooklyn.
