The Mets won another series yesterday with their 2-0 win in Colorado. The Mets, who now have an 8 game lead, will now open up a series with the Giants in San Francisco. When the two teams met up last time in Queens the Giants were 7-2 and only a half game out of first place. The Mets took 3 of 4 games, serving as a statement series for the ball club.

The Giants are now 22-18 and have currently lost four games in a row. They know the Mets are hurting right now and will do everything they can to take advantage and reverse their fortunes.
