Rafael - Montero

The New York Mets travel to Tampa to take on the New York Yankees at George M. Steinbrenner Field for a Subway Series spring rematch at 1:05 PM. The game will be televised on MLB Network.

Rafael Montero will take the mound for the Mets and will be opposed by Masahiro Tanaka for the Yanks.

The Mets blanked the Yankees 6-0 at Tradition Field in the first round of the two game series on Sunday.

Left-handers Duane Below and Chase Huchingson are with the team in Tampa. Both were borrowed from minor league camp.

The only Mets regulars who made the trip to Tampa are Lucas Duda, Travis d’Arnaud and All-World Juan Lagares.

In an effort to become more of a complete player, Matt Harvey took some extra swings in the batting cage today under the tutelage of hitting coach Kevin Long. When Long tried to tweak his swing, Harvey gave him an icy stare and said, “How about I tweak your head? Get lost dude, I’m Batman.”
