The Mets are looking to snap a two game losing streak and avoid a sweep by the Rays today with Marcus Stroman on the mound.

There was some good news yesterday. A criticism of the Mets offense this year has been the lack of homers. Jose Peraza hit a three-run homer in the first inning, Pete Alonso hit a homer and Francisco Lindor did too. Let’s see if the Mets can keep that part of yesterday going (and forget the part when the bullpen collapsed).

It was also his third start this season where he reached 90 or more pitches and his second start this season where he recorded an out in the seventh inning or later.
