The Mets and Padres play a rubber game tonight as the Mets try to take the series from the Padres. Last night was the Padres night – they rolled through the Mets with a 7-0 victory. More importantly, the Mets lost Pete Alonso and Starling Marte to injuries in the game. There have been a few constants this season the Mets need to lean on tonight. The San Diego Padres have the following career numbers against Bassitt:

The former Oakland Athletic Chris Bassitt faces off of against another long time Oakland Athletic, Sean Manaea.
