The Mets and Nationals finish up their four game set today with New York trying for a series split! The Mets won the first game yesterday pretty much thanks due to Francisco Lindor who had two homers on the day and all 5 RBI for the New York Mets. The Nationals got to the Mets early in the nightcap and the Mets couldn’t claw back. A seventh inning two-run homer by Jose Peraza prevented the Mets from being shutout for the third time in 4 games.
