The Mets open up a series with the Marlins after taking a series with the Reds on Wednesday. After a late, half washed out game on Tuesday night where the Mets lost 6-1, they rebounded on Wednesday when they actually gave Jacob deGrom run support. The Mets won 8-0 behind a dominant deGrom and two players collecting three hits (Austin Jackson and Brandon Nimmo).

Michael Conforto has reached base safely in 23 straight road games dating to June 12. Has a .398 OBP during the streak. It’s the longest road on-base streak by a Met since Curtis Granderson reached base safely in 37 straight road games from August 8, 2015-May 6, 2016.
