The Mets recorded 20 hits last night including three-hit games from Cabrera, Flores, Conforto and Duda. The Mets will look to keep the good times going for a second straight day as they take on Johnny Cueto and the Giants.

New York snapped its four-game losing streak last night. The Mets are 3-7 in their last 10 games. New York is 15-18 on the road. The club is 7-13 in its last 20 road games, including 1-4 on its season high-tying 10-game road trip.

Jacob takes the mound for New York today. He is 6-3 over 14 starts and 89.0 innings with a 3.94 ERA, 3.90 FIP and 1.326 WHIP. After back-to-back disastrous starts, he’s put together back to back amazing starts pitching 17.0 innings allowing two runs, one earned over eight hits and six walks. He also hit a homer in his last start. Earlier this season against the Giants he allowed four hits and three walks leading to three runs over six innings. NOTES

The Mets have hit 41 home runs this month, the most the club has ever hit in the month of June. The previous record was 40 in June, 2006. The franchise mark for any calendar month is 45 home runs set in August, 2015 and matched in August, 2016.

The Mets had five players with three or more hits last night (Asdrúbal Cabrera, Yoenis Céspedes, Wilmer Flores, Michael Conforto and Lucas Duda), tied for the most in team history in a nine-inning game. New York also had five players with three or more hits on September 16, 2011 at Atlanta and September 8, 1988 at Chicago-NL.

Granderson’s leadoff home run Thursday was his 20th as a member of the Mets, the most in franchise history, one more than José Reyes. He now has 44 career leadoff home runs, tied with Ian Kinsler for the most among active players.

Granderson is hitting .321 (17-for-53) with three doubles, five home runs, nine RBI and 10 runs scored in 20 games this month.

Yoenis Cespedes is hitting .395 (17-for-43) with four doubles, three home runs and nine RBI in 13 games since returning from the DL on June 10. Céspedes has nine home runs in 106 at-bats this season. Seven of his nine homers have come on the road.

Jacob deGrom has 106 strikeouts in 89.0 innings. His 10.72 K/9IP is third-best in the majors. DeGrom ranks eighth in the NL with 106 strikeouts. DeGrom’s five double-digit strikeout games are already tied for the most double-digit strikeouts games he’s had in a single season (2015).

DeGrom is 16-4 with a 1.71 ERA (40 ER/210.0 IP) in 32 career starts during the day. His 1.71 daytime ERA is the lowest in the majors since 1913 (min. 175 innings). Any game that begins before 5 p.m. is a day game.
