The Mets will go for two in a row tonight against the Cardinals after last night’s extra-inning win! The Mets fell into an early 2-0 hole which they cut to 2-1 thanks to a Bruce triple. Fast forward a bit, Wheeler was struggling and left the game down 4-1 to the Cardinals, which was the presumed score Harvey was going to enter the game under, but then Cespedes hit a 463-ft, 115.1 mph home run that tied the game. Harvey would allow a run, but the Mets would score in the eighth before Bruce ended it on a go-ahead solo shot in the tenth inning.
