Notes –
The Mets have hit at least one home run in 11 straight road games. It’s the third-longest such streak in franchise history. The club record is 14 road games in a row with at least one road homer from August 12-September 8, 1998 and the Mets also had a 13-game streak from August 3-23 last year.
Michael Conforto is hitting .417 (15-36) with six homers and 11 RBI in the first inning.
This season, the Mets have averaged 6.18 runs a game in Matt Harvey’s first 11 starts (68 runs in 11 starts), which is second-best in the National League among qualified starters.
Neil Walker is out of the lineup for the second straight game with knee stiffness.
Let’s Go Mets!
