Major League Baseball is looking into the Mets’ clubhouse incident yesterday that involved Manager Mickey Callway, starter Jason Vargas, and Mets’ beat reporter Tim Healey, according to Mike Puma of the NY Post. Puma also tweets that the Mets are considering disciplinary measures for both Callaway and Vargas.

Additionally, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Mets plan to get Callaway and Healey in a room together today.

Despite yesterday’s altercation, multiple reports confirm that Callaway will not be fired today, as he is scheduled for his normal press conference prior to tonight’s game against Philadelphia. General Manager Brodie Van Wagenen is joining the team, and he is expected to address the media, according Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

We will keep you posted at MMO for more details as they develop.
