The Binghamton Mets have announced that Mets top prospect Amed Rosario has been placed on the 7-day disabled list. He is reportedly battling a mild hamstring strain.

The 20-year old shortstop is hitting .354/.405/.525 with nine doubles and four triples since being promoted to the Double-A.

Last night, B-Mets first baseman Dominic Smith was pulled in the fourth inning without a confirmed reason given. Although it was speculated that it was for not running out a ground ball. However, he is not in the B-Mets lineup tonight.

This news comes just days after we reported that Mets outfield prospect Wuilmer Becerra had season-ending surgery on his labrum.

Dilson Herrera has also sat out the last two games for the Las Vegas 51s with a sore shoulder.
