The New York Mets announced that they’ve optioned RHP Corey Oswalt to Triple-A and recalled RHP Jacob Rhame.

Oswalt, 24, was stellar in his MLB debut on Wednesday, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing just a two-run home run. He walked none and struck out four. He will return to starting games in Las Vegas as opposed to relieving for the MLB team.

“He was fearless,” Callaway said after the game. “He did what we talk about, he went out and attacked.”

Rhame, also 24, has allowed three earned runs across 3.2 innings this season at the Major League level. He has struck out two, walked one, and allowed two home runs. He got knocked around in Vegas this year as well, allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits in 4.0 innings, striking out five and walking one.
