Double-A

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (75-37) 2 vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats (47-66) 3/ FINAL 10 INNINGS

Box Score

A.J. Ewing has had an uneven debut in Double-A, notching multiple hits in two games and striking out three times in two others. Chris Suero has gotten the hang of Double-A, with another two-hit day, but still shows he is rough behind the plate with a passed ball.

  • RHP Tylor Megill (0.00 ERA) 3 1/3 IP, 1 H, 9 K (39 of 55 pitches for strikes)
  • RHP Ryan Lambert (2.16 ERA) 1 IP, 1 H, 1 unearned run, 1 BB, 2 K

Tylor Megill was practically unhittable in his outing on Sunday, striking out nine of the 11 batters he faced, walking none but throwing two wild pitches. Megill may be on the fast track to Flushing, with maybe two more starts to get him ready for a September return. Ryan Lambert continues to dominate, being charged with the inherited runner that scored in the tenth inning despite not pitching in the inning.
