The Mets were held to four hits and they were 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position. That being said, they were able to mount a rally in the bottom of the eighth thanks to a game-tying single from Mauricio (error led to the game being tied). The 22-year-old has driven in six runs in the last five games he has appeared in.

Out of the six hits that Reyes allowed in the no-decision, four of them were doubles as Buffalo scored a run in three of the five innings that he pitched in. Walker was able to continue his success as he has not allowed a run or surrendered a walk in four appearances this month. The Bisons were able to drive in the go-ahead run against Nittoli on an RBI single in the ninth.

The Rumble Ponies scored all seven runs in the bottom of the fifth. Saunders got the scoring started with an RBI single that drove in Hayden Senger. Three batters later, Peroza made the score 3-0 with a two-run single. The scoring would be capped off later in the inning by an O’Neill grand slam.

Three Rumble Ponies pitchers combined to throw a five-hit shutout led by Chacin, who pitched into the sixth inning or later for the fifth time this year. With another scoreless relief appearance on Wednesday, Thomas has not allowed a run in seven of the eight games he has pitched in since signing with the Mets on June 6.

Consuegra brought the power in Hudson Valley on Wednesday with home runs in consecutive at-bats. The first one in the top of the fourth got the Cyclones on the board. Then, in the sixth, he gave Brooklyn the lead with a two-run shot. The 22-year-old had the first multi-home run game of his career.

Parada had two more hits on Wednesday to extend his hit streak to five games and he has multiple hits in three of those games (.320/.404/.560 in 50 at-bats this month).

Colina got the start for Brooklyn, and the one hit he allowed was a two-run home run to Rafael Flores in the bottom of the first. The 4 2/3 innings that he pitched was the longest that the 22-year-old has gone in any outing this year. Montas did not allow an earned run in his second appearance with the Cyclones, but the Renegades were able to score three runs against him in the bottom of the eighth (error by Junior Tilien with two outs extended the inning).
Low-A

Resumption of July 18 – BOX SCORE
The Mets finished up their game from Tuesday and it ended quickly Wednesday afternoon on a wild pitch by Elliot Johnstone. The originally scheduled game ended up being postponed and it will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.
Jett Williams homered, walked, and stole his 29th base.
Florida Complex League
The FCL Mets tried to complete their suspended game from Monday, but the game got re-suspended in the top of the fourth. No makeup date for the game has been announced yet. The team will be back in action on Thursday in West Palm Beach against the FCL Nationals.
Dominican Summer League

Even though the Blue Mets squad took an early 1-0 lead in the first, they were unable to hold the lead for very long. De Oleo picked up a three-hit game and had an RBI triple in the top of the seventh. It is the third time this year he has had three or more hits in a game. Almonte had an RBI double in the third and he has a slash line of .324/.480/.514 in 37 at-bats this month.
