AAA – Game 1: Syracuse Mets (41-62) 3, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (43-55) 0 BOX SCORE

The Mets offense in the day game was lead by Wilfredo Tovar, who hit two singles and drove in a run, and David Thompson, who hit his 12th home run of the season. Thompson was responsible for knocking in the other two runs. Also assisting the scoring attack, Brandon Drury and David Rodríguez hit doubles in this game. Overall, the team was able to muster three runs on five hits and three walks to get the win for Adam Oller.

Adam Oller pitched a gem, confusing hitters at the plate to get six scoreless innings. His command was on point, and he only allowed four baserunners in the outing. Stephen Nogosek saved the game for Syracuse, allowing a single during the outing.

AAA – Game 2: Syracuse Mets (41-62) 13, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (43-55) 6 BOX SCORE

The Syracuse Mets had an offensive party in the night game, scoring 13 runs on 15 hits and six walks. Leading the offense was Cheslor Cuthbert with three hits, one being a two-run homer in the third to break the game open. Cuthbert drove in four runs on the game. Orlando Calixte and Wagner Lagrange also had three hits and were vital to the bonanza of runs on Saturday night. David Thompson and Mark Payton also had multiple hits in this game.

Jesús Reyes got the start for Syracuse in the night game, and his performance was disappointing, as he allowed five earned runs on four hits and a walk. Yeizo Campos got credit for the win, pitching 1.2 innings and allowing an earned run with two strikeouts. Also, Sean Reid-Foley pitched a scoreless sixth inning in his rehab assignment with Syracuse.

A+: Wilmington Blue Rocks (46-59) 4, Brooklyn Cyclones (41-63) 0 BOX SCORE

The Cyclones were shutout on Saturday, as they only got three hits and drew five walks. Jaylen Palmer had a single a drew a walk while Zach Ashford had a double in the 9th inning to lead the Brooklyn’s lackluster scoring attack.

Luc Rennie had a rough start for the Cyclones, allowing four earned runs in 2 1/3 innings pitched. Once he was removed from the game, Hunter Parsons, Michel Otanez, and Brian Metoyer combined to pitch 6 2/3 scoreless innings.

Jupiter Hammerheads (56-49) 7, St. Lucie Mets (55-49) 4 BOX SCORE

The St. Lucie Mets scored four runs on eight hits and four walks. Branden Fryman had two hits and drew a walk, a productive day at the plate. Kevin Kendall had a double and two singles, driving in two runs in the process. Finally, Alex Ramirez had a two RBI single with two outs in the 4th inning to enhance the Mets offense on Saturday night.

The St. Lucie Mets game on Saturday was unable to be completed. Luis Rodriguez had a rough start, allowing five earned runs in the first inning. Then, Dylan Hall pitched scoreless second and third innings, allowing one hit and one walk in the appearance. Finally, Jeffrey Colon pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits.
