Mets shortstop prospect Ronny Mauricio was the subject of trade rumors on Tuesday, however, he finished the day off with a three-run homer in the 10th inning for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Mauricio had a big-time home run in the 10th inning when he hit a three-run shot to give the Rumble Ponies a 12-9 lead. The 21-year-old set a career-high with his 21st home run of the season and his 19 home runs are one of his career-best 20 that he hit last year.

Moreno has pitched well for Brooklyn this season as he’s coming off winning Pitcher of the Week after shutting Jasson Dominguez and the Hudson Valley Renegades last week.
The 23-year-old Tavarez is hard thrower that gets it up to 100 mph, he’s allowed only 12 hits and struck out 41 this year but has also issued 24 walks in 28 innings.

Gonzalez was making just his second appearance (first start) for the St. Lucie Mets as he works his way back from arm injuries. Wilson is also pitching in games for the first time since 2019 because of arm injuries.
