Mets shortstop prospect Ronny Mauricio was the subject of trade rumors on Tuesday, however, he finished the day off with a three-run homer in the 10th inning for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

- RHP Adonis Medina (3.00 ERA) 2.2 IP, 4 H, ER, 0 BB, 0 K
- LHP Alex Claudio (4.08 ERA) IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
The veteran Claudio has been mediocre in Triple-A, though with the Mets not acquiring a lefty reliever at the trade deadline he could still be in line for a big league opportunity at some point.

- RHP Sammy Tavarez (2.89 ERA) IP, 0 H, 0 R, BB, 2 K
Moreno has pitched well for Brooklyn this season as he’s coming off winning Pitcher of the Week after shutting Jasson Dominguez and the Hudson Valley Renegades last week.
The 23-year-old Tavarez is hard thrower that gets it up to 100 mph, he’s allowed only 12 hits and struck out 41 this year but has also issued 24 walks in 28 innings.
