Albuquerque Isotopes (15-14) 11, Las Vegas 51s (14-16) 5 Box Score

Brandon Nimmo was a last minute scratch for this game. Rosario has one hit and no walks over his last three games, but only has one strikeout over that span. Smith is two for his last 17 following his hot start to the year.

Beavan’s first start for the 51s was not one to write home about. His outing unraveled in the fifth where he was charged with four earned runs. Rowen has only given up three runs his last 12 innings.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats (10-17) 4, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (14-10) 2 Box Score

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (15-10) 9, New Hampshire Fisher Cats (10-18) 0 Box Score

This was game two of a doubleheader on Saturday. Kaczmarski had a three-run triple in the fifth inning. After struggles to begin the year, Nido is starting to hit more. He now has a hit in seven of his last 10 games.

The Mets reigning organizational pitcher of the year continues to pitch well at Double-A. Conlon now has 35 Ks in 32.2 innings.

Fort Myers Miracle (14-16) 11, St. Lucie Mets (12-18) 9 Box Score

The St. Lucie Mets were initially down 9-1 in this game before a four run fifth and sixth got them even. Mazeika is now slashing .374/.433/.648 on the season. He leads the Florida State League in OPS with 1.081.

Dunn’s struggles continued into Saturday’s game, as he was pulled in the third inning while failing to record an out. McGeorge made his second appearance at Single-A and really saved the rest of the bullpen. Brantley took the loss after giving up two runs in the eighth inning.

Lakewood BlueClaws (18-12) 1, Columbia Fireflies (14-15) 0 Box Score

The Fireflies were no hit in this game by Phillies farmhands Nick Fanti and Trevor Bettencourt. Fanti was pulled with one out left ninth and Bettencourt finished it off.

  • LHP Blake Taylor (0-4, 4.50 ERA): 6 IP, 3 H, BB, 3 K
  • LHP Jake Simon (0-1, 0.00 ERA): 3 IP, H, R, 0 ER, BB, 2 K

Taylor and Simon tried their best to match the BlueClaws pitching staff but fell short. Simon gave up an unearned run in the eighth and that was all that was required. It was the best outing of the year for Taylor, as it matched his season-high in innings pitched and was his first scoreless start.
