Nick Morabito showed off the bat and the leather in Syracuse’s 5-4 victory Sunday over Lehigh Valley. He had one of the Mets’ two extra-base hits and made a great catch in center field that you can see here.
The 23-year-old, who went 0-for-11 with nine strikeouts in five major-league games this year, has been hot in Triple-A this month. He’s slashed .287/.360/.480 in June with three homers, four doubles and a triple. He’s also 11-for-11 stealing bases. Morabito’s 26 steals rank sixth in the International League.
