Ortega was recently signed to a minor league deal by the Mets and had 28 doubles and 18 home runs in the big leagues over the previous two seasons for the Cubs. The 24-year-old has 47 strikeout to 6 walk ratio this season in 38 1/3 innings and has only allowed 25 hits during that span. Scott is a fastball (mid-90s, top 98 mph), slider, and changeup pitcher.
