Woods-Richardson now has a 2.20 ERA over his last seven starts and has two straight starts of going five innings while allowing only two hits and one run. His 2.68 FIP ranks 7th in the South Atlantic League and his 22.6 K-BB% is tied for fifth, he’s 18 years old.

Alvarez and Baty hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning for their first in Appalachian League action. Both of them are among the Mets top 10 prospects.

The 17-year-old Santos had his best start of the 2019 season. The 6’8” right-hander has been fast tracked through the best system having pitching only five innings in the GCL last year before starting this year with Kingsport.
