If you ignore what happened in Syracuse this was a great day for the Mets farm system! The new offensive additions performed well going 5-for-16 with Émilien Pitre logging a multi-hit game. The pitching overall was a bit more shaky but for the most part the offenses today picked them up. Meanwhile, Mitch Voit can’t be stopped in Double-A.

Few players have had a start to Double-A like Mitch Voit who logged three more hits to bring his batting average to .538 and his OPS to a staggering 1.575. Newly acquired Émilien Pitre started his Mets career off well with two hits, and Jacob Reimer returned from his injury with a hard hit single to drive in two runs.

Channing Austin had a rough first start in Double-A but since then he has pitched 13.1 innings to a 3.38 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Having converted to a starter in 2025, he is quickly approaching his career high in innings pitched and is being load managed, but it is hard to argue that this year has not been a success so far for Austin.

The Brooklyn offense jumped out for seven runs and the new additions of Snyder, Smith and Spikerman played a big part of that. Smith and Spikerman made their arrivals to the organization known and Snyder after a short slow start has shown why he was promoted to High-A.

DSL Mets Blue (17-29) 13, DSL Tigers 1 (17-29) 6

The DSL Mets Blue offense exploded scoring thirteen runs on eleven hits and thirteen walks. Almost everyone got a hit, but Bravo was the most dominant.
