The Mets big league club is off on Thursday, so let’s check out what the top prospects are doing in the minor leagues. On Wednesday night, Mets prospect Luisangel Acuña had three hits, two home runs, three runs scored, and a stolen base on the same evening that Max Scherzer allowed seven runs in three innings.

All games can be watched on MiLB tv, which I would highly recommend.

TRIPLE-A: ROCHESTER (60-71) VS. SYRACUSE (54-77) 6:35 PM GAMEDAY

Mets pitching prospect Mike Vasil gets the start for Triple-A Syracuse. Veteran minor leaguer Daniel Palka has hit five home runs in eight games since rejoining the Mets organization.

DOUBLE-A: HARTFORD (54-71) VS. BINGHAMTON (68-58) 5:00 PM, GAME 1 GAMEDAY

Right-hander Joander Suarez is making his second Double-A starter after the first one resulted in him winning Eastern League Pitcher of the Week honors.

Luisangel Acuña hit two home runs on Wednesday in the Binghamton win. Jeremiah Jackson and Kevin Parada each chipped in with a home run of their own.

Binghamton leads Portland and Reading by six games for a playoff spot.

Left-hander reliever Daniel Juarez will start Game 2 for Binghamton.

HIGH-A: WILMINGTON (53-73) VS. BROOKLYN (64-63) 7:00 PM GAMEDAY

Right-hander Jawilme Ramirez gets the start for Brooklyn. The Cyclones have a one-game lead over Jersey Shore for a playoff spot.

Shortstop/outfield prospect Jett Williams walked one once and tripled on Wednesday night. Williams is now one walk away from 100 for the season.

LOW-A: DAYTONA (55-70), St. Lucie (42-83) 6:10 PM GAMEDAY

St. Lucie has only four games left in what has been a nightmare season regarding wins and losses.
