Derrek Lee blasted a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning off reliever Manny Acosta that helped the Braves beat the Mets 6-3 on Sunday to complete the three-game sweep.

Lee’s grand slam was the 12th one the Mets have allowed this season.

ESPN’s Mark Simon reports no team has ever finished a season allowing 12 or more grand slams and hitting none.

After failing to hit a grand slam through the first 150 games of this season, the Mets have only 12 games left to try and change that.

Can they do it?
