As the 2022 MLB season heads into September, the New York Mets on Wednesday, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, released their Spring Training schedule for the 2023 season.

The Mets will open their Grapefruit League season both at home and on the road with a split-squad season-opener on Saturday, February 25. Half of the squad will stay home at Clover Park and face the Miami Marlins to open the springs season, while the other half will travel to the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches and face the Houston Astros.

The whole squad will be at Clover Park on Sunday, February 26 to take on the Washington Nationals.

Their will be no games on March 8 or 9 as players will be participating in the 2023 World Baseball Classic that week.

In total, the Mets will play the Marlins, Astros, Nationals, and Cardinals each six times, the Braves twice, and the Rays twice.

The spring season will wrap up on Sunday, March 26 at Clover Park against the Marlins. Following the conclusion of Spring Training, the team will stay in Florida for a few more days as the 2023 regular season begins in Miami for the Mets with a four-game series against the Marlins from March 30 through April 2 before heading to Milwaukee to continue their seven-game road trip that opens the season.

The Mets will return home to Citi Field for their home opener against the Marlins on Thursday, April 6.
