Major League Baseball announced they will reveal the 2020 shortened season schedule on Monday night at 6:00 p.m. ET on MLB Network.

Matt Vasgersian, Harold Reynolds, and Tim Verducci will breakdown the 60-game schedule.

We already know that the season will begin on July 23, with the World Champion Washington Nationals hosting the New York Yankees in primetime. The San Francisco Giants will also travel to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers on Opening Day.

The New York Post previously reported the Mets will start their season on July 24 at home against the Braves.

Mets will play 40 games against the National League East and 20 games against the American League East.

The schedule news came minutes before Nationals GM Mike Rizzo canceled the teams Monday workouts because they still haven’t received the results of Friday’s Covid-19 testing.
