Jacob deGrom was perfect tonight, striking eight batters in three innings of work, but once again left the game with a sour taste in his mouth.
For the second-straight start, deGrom has left a start early due to injury. Last time out it was due to flexor tendinitis, but today’s injury is apparently a new one.
According to New York Daily News beat reporter Deesha Thosar, deGrom left the game today with shoulder soreness. We will update you when we have more information on his injury status moving forward.
