Over the last couple of years I’ve learned so much about the game of baseball, I’m still no expert by far. But it doesn’t take an expert to see that something is majorly wrong with the 2008 Mets. With the spotlight on the team that was supposed to come back from the "worst collapse in baseball ever", they certainingly don’t seem to have the heart we remember from 2006 and the first half of 2007.

I can’t tell you what exactly is wrong or how to fix it, but I do know something drastic needs to happen and fast. Whether it’s a change in management or with the roster, they need a shocker. All of this talent cannot go to waste because of a few problems.

I’m not trying to bash my team, I could never do that. I love this team. I devote tons of ‘behind the scenes’ time and effort to this Mets fan site. That’s not going to change. If anything, I feel sympathetic for them. They need some motivation, some inspiration. Something that makes them confident again. They need to find the chemistry we continuously see from our opponents.

There is still time and hope for our beloved Mets, afterall they don’t call ’em the "AMAZINs" for nothing!
