The Mets on Tuesday shared their 2024 spring training schedule a couple of weeks after their 2024 regular season schedule came out.
The Mets’ first 2024 spring training game is on February 24 against the St. Louis Cardinals. They’ll then face the usual suspects over the next month:
- Cardinals
- Miami Marlins
- Houston Astros
- Washington Nationals
Twenty-six of their 30 spring games are against these four teams. They’ll also have a home and away game each against the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers. The spring schedule is highlighted by just two true off days.
The Mets’ last game(s) of the schedule will oddly come in a split-squad venture at the Marlins and home against the Nationals on March 24. The regular season starts three days later on March 28 at Citi Field against the Milwaukee Brewers.
