Speaking to reporters at Citi Field , Terry Collins said that Matt Harvey has a minor foot issue but will make his next scheduled start against the New York Yankees.
Harvey will have had his left foot checked out by a team doctor, and has been reportedly dealing with this issue for about a month.
“He’s fine. It’s nothing,” Terry Collins said.
The Mets ace is 3-0 with a 3.50 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched this season.
