Francisco Lindor will not be in the starting lineup on Thursday, a day after leaving a game with flu-like symptoms. Joey Wendle will start at shortstop against the Chicago Cubs. Manager Carlos Mendoza said during last night’s broadcast that a virus was going around.

In other news, Mendoza said before the game that reliever Brooks Raley will not be activated from the injured list when he is eligible to return, per Tim Healey of Newsday. Raley will undergo another MRI after his progress stalls.

Raley was placed on the IL with elbow inflammation and an MRI showed no structural damage last month. The lefty has thrown seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in eight appearances.
