The Mets got back to the .500 mark on Saturday with a 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers. A big play in this contest took place when third baseman Todd Frazier bunted through the right side of the infield to beat the shift.

Frazier drove in the first run of the game with the play, and moved catcher Wilson Ramos from first to third.

After this, infielder Adeiny Hechavarria slugged a three-run home run to right field, giving New York a then 4-3 lead, which they were able to hold on to.

With the win, New York has won six of their last seven games and sit 4.5 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies for first place in the National League East.

Frazier (1-4, RBI, R), who got off to a slow start this year, has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, and is now hitting .333 (11-for-33) in that stretch.

The Toms River, New Jersey native talks about that with our own Rich Coutinho as well as the team’s 6-1 week that got them back to the .500 mark.
