The Metropolitans came up with a tremendous come from behind victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon by a score of 4-3. With Sunday’s victory, the team completed an impressive 6-1 homestead to bring their record back up to the .500 mark.

The New York Mets (26-26) are right back at it tonight, heading over to the West Coast on Memorial Day to open up a series against the Los Angeles Dodgers (35-18).

Jacob deGrom (3-5, 3.72 ERA) will toe the rubber for New York and will be opposed by Clayton Kershaw (4-0, 3.33 ERA) in what hopes to be a great pitching match-up to complete the holiday weekend. First pitched is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. (EST) and can be seen on ESPN or SNY as well as heard on WCBS 880.
