Now we’re in the thick of it.

Following a 4-2 win on Monday night, the Tampa Bay Rays look to add to their 2-0 lead over the Houston Astros.

Over in the NL, the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers reconvene to play Game 2 after a 5-1 Braves victory on Monday.

Dodgers vs Braves • 6:05 p.m. ET, Game 2 – FS1

Globe Life Park • Arlington, TX

RHP Ian Anderson (Postseason: 2-0, 0.00) vs RHP Tony Gonsolin (Postseason: 2-2, 2.31)

Rookie Ian Anderson will take the mound for the Braves in Game 2. The right-hander made his big league debut on Aug. 26 and proceeded to pitch to a 1.95 ERA in the last few weeks of the season. In the postseason thus far, Anderson has struck out 17 in just 11.2 IP and looks to continue that trend tonight.

As if a Game 1 loss wasn’t enough, the Dodgers were forced to scratch ace Clayton Kershaw for Game 2, as the lefty has been suffering from back spasms.

Instead, LA will send out righty Tony Gonsolin for his first postseason appearance. Gonsolin has faced Atlanta only once, going four innings and allowing just one run – the kind of effort that the Dodgers would certainly appreciate tonight.

Rays vs Astros • 8:40 p.m. ET, Game 3 – TBS

Petco Park • San Diego, CA

LHP Ryan Yarbrough (Postseason: 0-0, 3.60) vs RHP Jose Urquidy (Postseason: 0-0, 5.19)

Left-hander Ryan Yarbrough will make his first postseason start for the Rays, though this is not his first postseason appearance. In Game 4 of the ALDS, Yarbrough tossed five innings in a 5-1 loss to the Yankees, allowing two runs on six hits.

The Astros will counter with right-hander Jose Urquidy, who looks to turn his postseason around in Game 3. Urquidy’s ALWC start vs the Twins was effective – he allowed just one earned run in 4.1 IP. The same could not be said for his second start (Game 3 of the ALDS), in which he allowed four earned runs (and four homers) in just 4.1 IP.
