The Scottsdale Scorpions won 4-0 over the Salt River Rafters on Wednesday night in what is their second to last game of the year. They’re the only team out of six in the Arizona Fall League that is out of contention for the championship game going into the final day of the regular season.

Gavin Cecchini batted second and played shortstop, going 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. He raised his AFL slash line to .295/.357/.459 with seven extra base hits, seven walks and only eight strikeouts in 61 at-bats.

Tim Tebow played right field and batted eighth for the Scorpions. He went 0 for 2 with a walk, two strikeouts and was caught stealing. He also snapped his modest three-game hitting streak. He is now slashing .183/.269/.233 with six walks and 19 strikeouts in 18 games.

Center fielder Champ Stuart went 1 for 3 with a run scored and a stolen base. He’s now hitting .288/.319/.397 with ten stolen bases and 21 strikeouts in 18 games.

The Scorpions play their final fall league game today at 2:35pm ET against the Mesa Solar Sox.
