Carlos Beltran opted to give “no comment” on the topic of the Astros sign-stealing scandal during Tuesday night’s press conference at the Winter Meetings in San Diego.

“I’m not going to talk about it,” he said.

Beltran, whose name has been brought up as being heavily involved in the Astros’ electronic sign-stealing in the 2017 season, said he is focused on Mets’ baseball.

The Athletic reported that Beltran (who played his last season with the Astros in 2017), Alex Cora, and Astros manager A.J. Hinch all “played a key role in devising the sign-stealing system the team used.”

The investigation is ongoing, but Beltran remained tight-lipped in regard to any MLB investigation.
