According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, Terry Collins plans to be back at Mets camp for Saturday’s first official workout involving pitchers and catchers.
Collins left camp to be with his family after learning that his father, Bud, passed away at age 95 on Tuesday night.

According to several media outlets, Terry Collins’ father, Loren “Bud” Collins passed away last night at the age of 95.
Collins has understandably left camp in Florida to be with his family back home in Michigan.
Many reports have noted the close relationship that TC had with his Dad. I’m sure many of us can relate to that bond and the role that baseball has played in it.
Thoughts and prayers are with the Collins family.
